Where were you last night, when the rain pounded against my window and the loneliness sunk in? Did you know I was here? With no one to love me, no one to hold me, no one to talk to, cause’ you were gone and I alone! Where are you now? While the sun shines so pretty and the flowers bloom. And I feel like spring inside – so warm – so needed. I hear a knock on the door – this isn’t you – what must I do? The stranger enters and he sits and he sits and he sits and I become comfortable. The stranger sits and he sits and he holds me. The stranger sits and he sits and he loves me and I love him back. I feel like spring inside – so warm – so fulfilled. The stranger is good. Goodbye my love, the stranger is here!
