GALLERY – Women for Progress of MS, Inc., along with several community partners, hosted a nonpartisan Hinds County District Attorney Forum and Meet & Greet at the Mississippi Public Broadcasting Auditorium in Jackson

On Sep. 28th, Women for Progress of MS, Inc., along with several community partners, hosted a nonpartisan Hinds County District Attorney Forum and Meet & Greet at the Mississippi Public Broadcasting Auditorium in Jackson. The event featured candidates Gwen Agho, Greta Mack Harris, Darla Palmer, Marvin L. Sanders and Wendy Wilson White, giving attendees an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their views on issues related to the District Attorney’s Office. The forum was part of an effort to provide residents with information about the office and the candidates ahead of the 2026 election. Community partners included the League of Women Voters–Jackson, Mississippi Black Women’s Roundtable, The Jackson Advocate, National Coalition of 100 Black Women–Central Mississippi Chapter and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.–Jackson (MS) Alumnae Chapter.
