On Jun. 29th, Mississippi M.O.V.E. announced that it has received a 2025 AARP Community Challenge Grant to support initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for older adults in Jackson. During a press conference at Madonna Manor, the organization shared plans for several new community focused projects, including the RIDE & CONNECT transportation program, Digital Literacy Hubs offering workshops and free Wi-Fi access and enhancements to public spaces featuring ADA accessible benches, raised garden beds and other community improvements.
