On Jul. 17th, Jackson Public Schools kicked off the 2026–27 school year preparations with its annual Districtwide Beautification Day, bringing together teachers, staff, parents, volunteers, community partners and city employees to help refresh school campuses across the district. At North Jackson Elementary, Entergy presented a donation to support efforts to enhance learning environments, while volunteers organized classrooms, improved school entrances and beautified campus grounds.
