On Jun. 5th, Hinds County officials announced the launch of the Hinds County Safety Camera Initiative, a county wide public safety partnership aimed at strengthening emergency response, improving situational awareness during emergencies, deterring crime and addressing quality of life concerns such as illegal dumping. The initiative utilizes Brivo Eagle Eye 911 Camera Sharing technology and brings together local government agencies, law enforcement, educational institutions, businesses, churches and neighborhood organizations to enhance public safety efforts across the county.
