GALLERY – Families from across central Mississippi came together at the Jackson Convention Complex for Life Builders of Mississippi’s Community Engagement & Back to School Fair during Impact Week 2026

On Jul. 15th, families from across central Mississippi came together at the Jackson Convention Complex for Life Builders of Mississippi’s Community Engagement & Back to School Fair during Impact Week 2026. The free event connected students and families with school supplies, backpacks, health screenings, STEM and AI activities and community resources. Community organizations, including The Salvation Army, Mississippi Coding Academies, Habitat for Humanity, Hinds Behavioral Health Services, Mirror Moments, and the Child ID Program, were on hand to provide valuable information and services. The event highlighted the power of community partnerships, helping prepare students for the upcoming school year while connecting families with resources that support education, health and overall well being.
