On Jul. 27th, AT&T and The Bean Path officially celebrated the grand opening of Jackson’s first AT&T Connected Learning Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new center provides the community with free access to high speed internet, Wi-Fi, Dell computers, digital literacy training, tutoring, workforce development opportunities and educational resources. Community leaders, elected officials and local partners gathered to mark the opening and highlight the importance of expanding access to technology and digital skills. Supported by a $50,000 investment from AT&T, the Connected Learning Center is designed to help bridge the digital divide by providing residents with the tools and resources needed to succeed in school, the workplace and everyday life.
