The Dominion Runway Production returns to Jackson
Celebrating Black excellence, men’s fashion, and purpose
JANS – The highly anticipated Dominion Runway Production returns to Jackson on Saturday, June 20th, 6 p.m., at the beautiful Arts Center of Mississippi, 201 E. Pascagoula Street, bringing together fashion, faith, culture, and Black excellence for an unforgettable evening dedicated entirely to men’s fashion and empowerment. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Founded in Spring 2020, the event was created to address a gap in the fashion industry where men’s fashion often took a backseat to women’s collections and presentations. What began as a bold vision in Jackson has evolved into a celebrated platform highlighting high-end streetwear, tailored menswear, and the extraordinary talent found throughout the Southeast. Inspired by Genesis 1:28, the production’s name reflects a message of purpose, leadership, and dominion, encouraging individuals to walk confidently in their gifts and calling.
“The Bible Belt is full of so much hidden talent and gifts. I truly believe in pulling the best out of each man or woman I come in contact with,” said L. Lashley, Production Lead and Creative Director of Dominion Runway Production.
Now entering its sixth year, Dominion Runway Production has expanded beyond Mississippi, making successful tour stops in Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL, while continuing to establish Jackson as a premier destination for fashion and creativity.
This year’s production will feature:
30+ male models
An all-male model cast
Six featured designers representing both local talent and fashion creatives from across the Southeast
Hosts: Melanie Sanders & Laureano Ramos.
