JANS – On Monday, Iowa put in place a near-total abortion ban, which makes Iowa the 22nd state in the nation to have such a measure put into effect before many women even know they’re pregnant. And what this means is that 1 in 3 women of reproductive age in America lives in a state with an abortion ban.

“So what we need to do is vote,” said VP Kamala Harris. “Because I’m going to tell you something. When I am President of the United States, I will sign into law the protections for reproductive freedom.”

The Harris for President campaign is in the final days of a “Fight for Reproductive Freedom” Week of Action with dozens of events all across the battlegrounds to ensure voters understand all that’s at stake for reproductive rights in this election. Harris’s husband, Douglas Emhoff hosted a reproductive freedom event in New Hampshire on Wednesday. Radio host Ryan Hamilton headlined a Harris for President event in Las Vegas, Nevada, immediately ahead of Trump’s VP pick, JD Vance’s visit to the state.

Several other Harris for President surrogates are out on the trail, including President and CEO of Reproductive Freedom for All Mini Timmaraju and reproductive rights advocates Hadley Duvall, Latorya Beasley, and Kaitlyn Kash.
