Simpson County welcomes newly chartered chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
JANS – Alpha Delta Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is now official. A celebration of founding members was held recently in Magee, MS. Under the leadership of Southeastern Regional Director Dr. Tracey Morant Adams, this milestone marks a significant expansion of the sorority’s presence and commitment to service within the Simpson County community.
Chartered with a mission grounded in service and sisterhood, the members of Alpha Delta Rho Omega are committed to contribute to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s longstanding legacy of addressing community needs through impactful programs and meaningful outreach. The chapter is dedicated to serving Simpson County through initiatives focused on education, health, economic empowerment, and community engagement.
“The establishment of the Alpha Delta Rho Omega Chapter reflects the vision, dedication, and collective effort of its members and supporters and represents a new chapter of service, leadership, and unity in Simpson County,” stated Adams.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., founded in 1908, is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-educated women and has a rich legacy of service to communities locally and globally.
