PACK EXPO November 2024 – Unpacking a WOW!

What an exciting exhibition of more than 2,500 exhibitors from all over the world displaying the latest and greatest technology in production and manufacturing. I am compelled to share my positive experience of visiting PACK EXPO last week at McCormick Place in Chicago, November 3-6, 2024.

I had a wonderful time speaking with many different types of companies from all over the world as they unveiled a vast array of technology incorporating AI, robotics, and digital transformation. The next PACK EXPO is scheduled for March 10-12, 2025, at the Georgia World Conference Center in Atlanta, GA.

It was amazing to see a significant number of companies with working displays of equipment and systems demonstrating  the functionality of many processes. Three full days at this show was simply not enough time to visit all the booths. At these mega trade shows, it is necessary to plan your route carefully to ensure you invest the appropriate amount of time to review specific technologies.

PACK EXPO offered a little something for everyone. For those with an entrepreneurial mindset in a start-up business, this was an opportunity to find a contract manufacturer who could make your dream a reality by producing, filling, and shipping your product as a turnkey service. For those seeking employment, there were opportunities as technicians, engineers, or in sales and marketing. For college students seeking to better understand the industry as they pursue careers in fields such as operations or supply chain management, this afforded an opportunity to interact with engineers and gain hands-on understanding of production equipment.

It is highly suggested to stay abreast of exhibitions like this that cost only $30 to attend where the time and financial investment have a huge return.
