NAACP President sees promise in historic hire
JANS – More than Mayor Percy Bland and city officials are still excited about the recent confirmation of Terrell Thompson as Community Development Director for Meridian, MS. Local NAACP President De’Angelo Houston shares the historic importance of the appointment. “I am proud to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Terrell Thompson on his historic confirmation as the first African-American Community Development Director in the City of Meridian.
