JANS – On Dec. 2, Mayor John Horhn joined HOPE Credit Union leadership, community partners, and residents to celebrate the grand opening of the HOPE Economic Empowerment Center (HOPE EEC), located at 5471 I-55 North in Jackson. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the transformation of a previously vacant property into a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to increasing financial access, supporting entrepreneurship, and promoting economic opportunity in the Capital City.

The new HOPE EEC will offer financial products and services for individuals, families, and small business owners, along with homebuyer education, entrepreneurial training, and a multipurpose space designed for community engagement.

Mayor Horhn commended the project as a milestone in Jackson’s ongoing efforts to strengthen neighborhood economies and expand opportunity for residents.

“Today represents hope in action,” said Mayor Horhn. “HOPE’s investment in our city helps ensure that Jacksonians have access to the tools, training, and financial resources they need to build a prosperous future.”
