On Sep. 12th, Uncle James and the Jackson Zoo hosted the second annual Cast and Catch Youth Fishing Day at Livingston Park. The free event provided children with an opportunity to enjoy fishing and the outdoors. Participants were provided with fishing poles, bait and the chance to win prizes. Children were required to attend with a parent, guardian or volunteer. The event encouraged youth and families to spend time outdoors while learning and participating in recreational fishing.
