On Sept. 19th, the Plug Vinyl Tailgate Experience helped set the tone for Jackson State football fans ahead of, during and after the Tigers’ W.C. Gorden Classic matchup against Tuskegee at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium. Hosted by comedian Big Mooch and DJ’d by DJ Dally B, the event featured free food, drinks, giveaways and music, creating a festive atmosphere for JSU fans throughout game day. The celebration came as Jackson State continued its undefeated start to the 2026 season. The Tigers defeated Tuskegee 41-7, improving to 3-0 on the season. Quarterback Jared Lockhart threw for 376 yards and four touchdowns, while Nate Blount IV recorded 149 yards from scrimmage as Jackson State pulled away in the second half. With music, food, giveaways and plenty of Tiger pride, the Plug Vinyl Tailgate Experience added to the entertainment and community atmosphere surrounding JSU game day in Jackson.
