Chief RaShall Brackney’s Citywide Community Meetings
Since February, Dr. Brackney has met with residents, business owners, and faith leaders across the city, beginning with Wards 5 and 6, to hear directly about public safety concerns, neighborhood priorities, and ways JPD can strengthen its partnership with the community. She will now continue those conversations in the remaining wards through a series of evening meetings and daytime outreach events in April and May.

Quote from Chief Brackney
“I want every neighborhood in Jackson to know that their voice matters and that their police department is listening,” Dr. Brackney said. “These meetings are a chance for me to sit down with residents where they live, worship, and work, to hear directly about what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can move forward to make every part of this city safer.”
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting in their ward or any date that works best for them.
