Atmos Energy Earns Spot on Forbes “America’s Best Large Employers” List for Sixth Straight Year
FLOWOOD– Feb. 25, 2026 – Atmos Energy continues to gain national recognition for being a great employer, which is an integral part of its vision to be the safest provider of natural gas services. For the sixth consecutive year, Atmos Energy has been named to the Forbes list of “America’s Best Large Employers,” ranking as one of the top 100 employers overall and placing second among all utilities.

Forbes partnered with Statista to determine the annual rankings based primarily on survey responses from more than 217,000 employees working at U.S. companies that employ at least 1,000 people. Atmos Energy qualifies among the 700 companies with over 5,000 employees that make up the list of “America’s Best Large Employers.” Survey participants evaluated employers based on both personal experience and public perception, with employee feedback weighted most heavily in the final rankings.
