SCOPE OF WORK:  Principle items of work will include the complete demolition and removal of existing site and building construction.  Removal of refuse and debris and demolished material from the property.  Patch all areas and surfaces damaged as a result of removal work, match existing adjacent surface and/or areas.  Promptly clean areas outside of the construction area that collect dust or debris.  Contractors will be required to serve all proper notices and acquire all necessary building demolition permits.  Removal of existing site concrete slab, landscape, etc.

Plans and Proposals may be picked up at the Hinds County Department of Public Works located at 900 E Main Street, Raymond, MS 39154.  Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Hinds County must accompany each proposal.  The winning bidder will be required to provide a performance bond prior to execution of the contract.

You have been made a Defendant in the First Amended Petition to Confirm Tax Sale and Quiet Title filed in this Court by Forbes Transportation LLC seeking a final judgment confirming the tax sale of August 26, 2019, and quieting and confirming title in the above-described property as to all those with any legal or equitable interest therein. Defendants other than you in this action are Lynn Fitch, in her capacity as Attorney General for the State of Mississippi; Hinds County, Mississippi; and Brad McCullouch, in his official capacity as District Attorney for the Seventh Circuit Court District of Mississippi.

You are required to mail or hand-deliver a written response to the First Amended Petition (Complaint) to Jason Owens, attorney for the Plaintiff, whose address is 770 N. West St., Jackson, MS, 39202.

YOUR RESPONSE MUST BE MAILED OR DELIVERED WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER THE 8TH DAY OF OCTOBER 2026, WHICH IS THE FIRST DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THIS SUMMONS. IF YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT SO MAILED OR DELIVERED A JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT WILL BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU FOR THE MONEY OR OTHER THINGS DEMANDED IN THE FIRST AMENDED PETITION.
