Jackson Medical Mall Foundation selected to partner with MDHS to strengthen workforce readiness
JANS – The Jackson Medical Mall Foundation has been awarded Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funding through the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) to provide youth development and workforce training services for Jackson and surrounding area residents.
This grant will help the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation expand opportunities for youth and families through the Young Futurists Project and new Workforce Development initiatives.
“This partnership is an incredible opportunity to help families in the Jackson community thrive,” said Jessica Lewis, Workforce and Youth Program Director. “By working with the Mississippi Department of Human Services, we can ensure that parents, caregivers, and our scholars have the support they need to achieve lasting success and economic mobility.”
Through the implementation of this grant, the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation will provide comprehensive educational support, job skills training, and career placement services through its workforce program to help families overcome barriers to employment and stability.
