Roberts and Miz Tiffany win big at Stellar Awards

JANS – American Idol and Mississippi native Jamal Roberts racked up two Stellar Gospel Music Awards during the 2026 “greatest night in gospel music.” He won the awards alongside gospel star Jonathan McReynolds for their powerful collaborative song, “Still (Live)”. The wins for Male Artist of the Year – Jonathan McReynolds – “Still (Live)” featuring Jamal Roberts and Contemporary Duo/Chorus Group of the Year – Jonathan McReynolds featuring Jamal Roberts – “Still (Live)” were celebrated during the 41st Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards pre-show events Friday, August 14th in Charlotte, NC, which Roberts also co-hosted. 

Also taking home a piece of the action was Miz Tiffany (Dr. Tiffany Coleman-McGee), who captured her second Stellar Award. The Mississippi Christian Hip-Hop artist also delivered a powerful, exclusive performance of “Spirit of God Moving All Over Me” during the Stellar Awards Pre-Show. Miz Tiffany is also featured in the Mississippi-made film “Shield by His Grace,” now streaming on Tubi.

Gospel music icon Kirk Franklin hosted Saturday’s awards ceremony under this year’s theme, “Feels Like Home”. 

Multiple awards winners included Lisa Knowles-Smith with five awards, including Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for “Promises (Live)”. 

Darrel Walls received Artist of the Year and Contemporary Male Artist of the Year for “Heart of Mine”. 

And Vincent Bohanan & SOV took home three awards, including Album of the Year and Choir of the Year for Live in New York.
