GALLERY – Nissan Canton and community partners hosted the first Nissan Recycling Roundup at the Nissan Canton Training Center in celebration of National Cleanup Day

On Sept. 19th, Nissan Canton and community partners hosted the first Nissan Recycling Roundup at the Nissan Canton Training Center in celebration of National Cleanup Day. The free community event provided Mississippi residents with an opportunity to responsibly recycle, donate and dispose of household items, including electronics, tires, batteries, clothing, furniture and paper for shredding. Nissan staff and volunteers, the Tennessee Environmental Council and local community organizations participated in the event. Appropriate donations collected will be distributed to local Nissan Neighbors grant recipients, including Habitat for Humanity ReStore and MadCAAP, extending the event’s impact throughout the community.
