Myricks named executive director of Madison County Chamber of Commerce
JANS – Katrina Boyette Myricks is the new executive director of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. A resident of Gluckstadt, Myricks brings a wealth of experience that will benefit the Chamber, local businesses, and the entire community, including her current service as a commissioner on the Gluckstadt Planning and Zoning Commission.
With over 30 years in education, Myricks has held key roles at Holmes Community College, including department chair, program coordinator, and business instructor. Myricks also brings a unique experience as an entrepreneur having served as a brand consultant with Rodan & Fields skincare for 10 years. Myricks’s extensive background in education and leadership will serve her well as she steps into this position.
Myricks is a proud graduate of Mississippi State University and Delta State University. She is active in the Metro Jackson area as a member of various organizations and has served on numerous boards. Myricks has received several accolades throughout her career. Her significant contributions to the business community have earned her recognition as one of Mississippi’s Top 50 Leading Businesswomen and a Top 40 Under 40 Award winner, both from the Mississippi Business Journal.
“As a graduate of Leadership Madison County, I have witnessed tremendous growth and progress in our area. Vicky Tate, Membership & Marketing Coordinator, and I are excited to lead the charge in driving business growth in our community,” noted Myricks.
